We have three senior ophthalmology registrar positions available commencing in January each year, supporting the Vision Van and outreach outpatient clinics. Based in Perth the role will be part of  our ophthalmology services to regional locations and hospitals in the Pilbara, Midwest, Great Southern and Goldfields. It also supports ophthalmology services to Metropolitan based Aboriginal Medical Services.

Weekly clinical teaching rounds occur and opportunities to provide education to rural clinical school students throughout the year.

Applicants will need a pioneering spirit, flexibility, and will reap the rewards of working in remote settings with Indigenous patients and seeing a wide range of clinical presentations to build a strong clinical skill set and a first hand understanding of the issues impacting access to eye health in the regions.
